Eddie Guerrero was reportedly planned to face Shawn Michaels before his sad death in late 2005

The untimely passing of Eddie Guerrero in November 2005 remains one of the darkest days in WWE history.

After years battling addiction, Eddie had been able to get himself sober, though his struggles with substance abuse tragically cut his life short at 38-years old.

A female WWE star said her life is in danger. Details HERE

His tragic loss has been made even worse for the fans since it was revealed that a possible feud for Guerrero had he not passed would have been against the Showstopper himself, Shawn Michaels.

Two of WWE's most athletically gifted stars, a match between the pair, reportedly at WrestleMania 22 would've been a sight to behold, and surely a 2006 Match of the Year candidate.

Scrapped for obvious reasons, an epic feud between the two Hall of Famers remains one of the biggest What Ifs in WWE history.
