WWE's product is incredibly popular at the moment, and this has led to legends returning to participate. The Undertaker showed up this past Monday night on RAW's Netflix premiere to pose with Rhea Ripley on the entrance ramp after she defeated Liv Morgan to capture the Women's World Championship.

Hulk Hogan also made an appearance on this past Monday's edition of RAW on Netflix, but the legend was booed by the WWE Universe. John Cena has also returned to the company for his final year in the ring.

Listed below are five retired wrestlers who should return to WWE for one more match in 2025:

#5. AJ Lee should return to WWE for one more match in 2025

AJ Lee remains a very popular WWE name despite not competing in a match in close to a decade. The last time the former Divas Champion was in the ring was on the March 30, 2015, edition of WWE RAW.

Lee is married to RAW star CM Punk, and The Second City Saint recently claimed that his wife's return to the company would be bigger than his. Lee should return to the company this year to have the retirement match she deserves.

#4. Hulk Hogan should return for one final match

Hulk Hogan made an appearance this past Monday night on WWE RAW's debut on Netflix, but it did not go as planned. The legend was booed by wrestling fans at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, California.

Hogan has launched "Real American Beer" and has a partnership with the promotion, allowing the logo for the beverage to be displayed on the canvas during RAW. The Hulkster could capitalize on the negative reaction he received on WWE RAW and compete in one final match as a heel in 2025.

#3. Triple H may decide to return to the ring this year

Triple H has not competed in a match since suffering a "cardiac event" in 2021. The veteran has been very successful outside the ring and currently serves as the company's Chief Content Officer.

The Game got in a confrontation with Kevin Owens after the latter hit Cody Rhodes with a Package Piledriver after losing to The American Nightmare last month at Saturday Night's Main Event. The King of Kings may decide to return to the squared circle this year to have a final match against Owens if he continues to brutally attack stars on SmackDown.

#2. Ric Flair could have his last match in 2025

Ric Flair is a legend of the business and recently had a brief stint in All Elite Wrestling but departed the promotion last year. He has not wrestled since the Ric Flair's Last Match event in 2022. He teamed up with his son-in-law, Andrade, to defeat Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal at the event.

The Nature Boy's daughter Charlotte Flair has been out of action since December 2023, after suffering a major injury. Flair could return to compete alongside his daughter in a mixed tag team match in 2025.

#1. Stone Cold Steve Austin could compete one last time

Stone Cold Steve Austin is one of the most iconic characters the wrestling business has ever seen. The Rattlesnake remains relevant to this day, and he competed in the main event of WWE WrestleMania 38. Austin defeated Kevin Owens in an impromptu match on The Grandest Stage of Them All in 2022.

The 60-year-old was impressive in the bout and looked like he had another match left in him. Stone Cold recently teased that he could be making an appearance at WWE WrestleMania 41, and the legend could decide to compete in a retirement match at the event in Las Vegas later this year.
