Two memorable angles of the Ruthless Aggression Era
#1 Eddie Guerrero and Rey Mysterio fight over Dominik

Eddie and Rey
Back in 2005, Eddie Guerrero and Rey Mysterio had a good thing going on as the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions. Eddie soon turned on Mysterio and a months-long feud kicked off between the two. Things suddenly took a turn that no one had ever imagined. Eddie brought Dominik in the mix, and stated that he was the real father of the kid. The road to WWE SummerSlam 2005 was a wild ride for the duo, as a Ladder match was sanctioned, with the winner being given the custody of Dominik.
As ridiculous as it all was, the angle somehow worked and Eddie became one of the most hated beings on the Blue brand. The crowd popped big for Mysterio when he defeated Eddie at WWE SummerSlam and hugged it out with Dominik in a heartfelt visual. Eddie went on to defeat Mysterio inside a Steel Cage, thus putting an end to the angle. Looking back on the storyline, it did its job of getting some serious heat on Eddie, even though the stipulation of the SummerSlam bout was as ridiculous as it could be. The excellent in-ring action helped as well.

Given the opportunity to script WWE’s next big storyline, Abhilash would treat fans to the second installment of The Bloodline Civil War. He would book Roman Reigns to re-form The Bloodline with The Usos and Sami Zayn upon his comeback. The angle would see The Tribal Chief-led group go head-to-head with The Rock, Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Jacob Fatu in a blockbuster family feud.
