#4 Curtis Axel
Being the son of a WWE legend, many had high hopes for Curtis Axel's career in wrestling. While his time in the WWE may not be as fondly remembered as his father's, there was an instance in which their ring attire was very similar.
While teaming with Ryback at Money in the Bank 2014, Curtis Axel debuted a new singlet as his ring attire for his match.

A few things stuck out about the new look from the short trunks Axel usually wore. Number one, it may have been an attempt to better mesh his look into a cohesive unit with his tag team partner, who himself wore singlets as his trademark ring gear.
Number two, if you look at the design and logo placement on the front and back of the singlet, it appears somewhat reminiscent of the shape and design of the trademark singlets worn by Axel’s father, Mr. Perfect Curt Hennig.

The thought process behind the change notwithstanding, this would be the only time we would see Axel wear a singlet like this in the ring.
