Roman Reigns vs Braun Strowman at Fastlane was an absolute war.
The two men engaged in one of the best brawls of the last few years and despite the finish, it was considered by many to be the match of the night. However, Reigns vs Braun was originally pencilled in for a match at WrestleMania 33 with the Universal Championship set to be on the line.
A number of things changed over the last few months and whilst we can't be sure of Vince McMahon's mindset, he was probably worried that Reigns would receive a horrendous ovation at the biggest event of the year for the third consecutive time.
We can't say that we blame him for changing things up, but it does highlight how important Roman's eventual heel turn is going to be.
