If there's one thing no one can deny about Rusev, it's the man's depth of knowledge about the art of war. Rusev is a born fighter who seems to have the ability to go to war inbuilt in his very soul.
Now, this may sound a tad weird in case you happen to be unfamiliar with the rules of an all-out war. Well, speaking about war -- a situation characterized by chaos -- Rusev, like many other great warriors in history, has been known to follow a set of important rules as a way of keeping himself grounded and disciplined.
It's the aforesaid set of rules which the Bulgarian Brute follows, that caused him to refrain from launching a careless attack on Aiden English. It's indeed set in stone, that when Rusev finally gets his hands on his friend-turned-enemy, the attack that the former shall unleash on English will be methodical, well-paced and brutal -- not because Rusev respects his enemy as a person, but since Rusev knows what a deceptively agile English is capable of skill-wise...
