When Ronda Rousey signed on with WWE, her personal request was that she worked with Stephanie McMahon. Why? Because it only made sense to complete their story.

If you recall, WrestleMania 31 saw a brief interaction between Rousey and Stephanie McMahon, when the then-UFC Bantamweight Champion took out both Stephanie and Triple H.

Since that point, it seemed like a no-brainer that they would cross paths at some point if Rousey ever competed in WWE and that happened to be first in line for the "Rowdy" one. She told Olivi

When I first came to the organisation, I was like, ‘Hey, I’d really like to do this for a couple of months, I’m gonna have a baby soon, so this isn’t forever’ but my one request when we first started was I wanted to finish my storyline with Stephanie, so that was my one request because I love Stephanie McMahon so much, which is so funny because we’re supposed to hate each other’s guts, but I love her! Oh my god, I love her so much!

She praised both McMahon and Triple H, stating that she succeeded only because she had the best to work with.
