Heading into WrestleMania 35, Seth Rollins versus Brock Lesnar was possibly the hottest feud in the making for the biggest annual WWE pay-per-view. However, the match itself at WrestleMania 35 caught the WWE Universe by surprise, as fans didn't expect Seth Rollins to slay The Beast Incarnate within two and a half minutes.

Seth Rollins previously shared the ring against Brock Lesnar on multiple occasions but mostly as The Authority's slimy heel. On this occasion, though, Rollins was the lovable babyface and he also had the opportunity to kick-start The Show of Shows with a red-hot crowd at MetLife Stadium.
Brock Lesnar gained the upper-hand on the challenger by attacking Rollins on the outside, prior to the start. As the bell rang, Lesnar still dominated Rollins and it seemed like another typical walk in the park for Lesnar.

However, in a surprising turn of events, Lesnar failed to hit the F-5, allowing Rollins to shove Lesnar into the referee and hitting a low-blow. Three consecutive Stomps from Rollins followed next and the referee counted to three for a historic win for The Architect.
This marked Seth Rollins' first Universal Championship win and what a triumphant way to do so, on the grand WrestleMania stage.
