And in late 2005, the WWE Universe were introduced to the Boogeyman, a dark, demonic, supernatural being who struck fear into all his opponents.

According to Mike Bucci, who fans may remember as Simon Dean, the Boss was a huge fan of the character, saying:
"When The Boogeyman was there, Vince McMahon would walk around the hallways and he would go up to different people ...“‘I’m comin’ to get ya!’”

“(McMahon) couldn’t stop it...he was in love with the gimmick."
Though he never held championship gold, it must be nice for The Boogeyman that his boss appreciated all his hard work.
