Vince McMahon might not be as good as he was in the past, but he still has a business mind that is unmatched in this industry. While he needs the cash-in news to boost the TV ratings and viewership, he knows that a match for the WWE Universal title on Monday Night Raw isn't best for business.
Just when Brock is set to cash-in, Vince's music hits and he suspends him for the night. With the suspension, Lesnar cannot cash-in, and it is pushed for the next time Rollins appears on TV – WWE Super ShowDown.
In that way, Brock remains as someone who wanted to cash-in but just couldn't because he was stopped from doing it by The Authority. Seth Rollins is kept safe for the PPV and Vince gets more heat as he has been for the past few months.
