#3. Lashley versus Balor at Fastlane

WWE really seemed to just be spinning their wheels storyline-wise this week on Raw, which pretty much guarantees that the company is hoping to save Balor versus Lashley for Fastlane. The move makes sense, especially with them still needing to fill out much of the pay per view's match card, but it also puts the company in a situation where they are forced to tell a very stilted story.

With that being said and Balor's string of bad booking lately, he deserved better than a one-sided beat-down and a tag team match with Ricochet. Unfortunately for The WWE Universe, the company chose to spin their wheels, which they have every right to when the situation calls for it, but not when they were already doing it on eight other things!

In the end, WWE did not pick the right week to spin their wheels on Balor, but it seemed to be for the right purpose. Whether that continues to be the case or not remains to be seen and will depend on how WWE feels about him defeating Lashley, but at least, they aren't having him outrightly lose.
