In 1999, there were fewer Superstars who were more polar opposites than Al Snow and The Rock.
After the People's Champion began tagging with Mick Foley, the already-crazed Snow went madder with jealousy, and after attacking Foley on several occasions, eventually squared off against The Rock.

Meeting on the December 20, 1999 edition of RAW under the new McMahon-Helmsley regime, the pair were ready to tear each other apart in the Brahma Bullrope match.
Though the JOB squad member got a few shots in, it seemed clear from the start that this match belonged to Rock.
That was until DX appeared, and after a beatdown on Rocky, Snow was able to get the shocking upset win.
Things would go from bad to worse under the McMahon-Helmsely regime, as the next week, Rock was forced to defeat Foley on a pink-slip on a pole match.
