Much like his loss to the Brawler though, interference proved to be his undoing, as the Big Show, led by Shane McMahon was able to decimate the Game, leading to a Godfather victory.
This was all part of the build to WrestleMania 2000, with a McMahon in every corner, and despite this loss plaguing his mind, Triple H was able to retain his WWF Championship at the show of shows.
And whilst few expected a win from the Godfather, remember that this man also defeated The Undertaker once on RAW.
