A huge win, many fans felt that the younger Hart deserved the win, though WWE officials had other ideas.
Revealing that Owen had cheated, the match was restarted, and it was not long until Bret won, nullifying Owen's brief reign on top.
Whilst he may have been able to celebrate with other Superstars, Owen's omission from the list of WWE Champions does not sit well with many fans.
