#2 Kane vs. Chavo Guerrero - WWE WrestleMania 24 (00:11)

WWE's version of ECW is certainly best forgotten and certainly shouldn't be compared to the original promotion of the 1990s. In fact, some would argue that one of the final nails in the WWE ECW coffin came at WrestleMania XXIV.
The pre-show of WrestleMania XXIV saw a 24-man over-the-top-rope battle royal to determine the No. 1 contender for the ECW Championship.

The winner of the match would not only be the next challenger for ECW's top prize, but the opportunity would take place later that night on the WrestleMania main card.
After six minutes of action, the field of WWE Superstars came down to Kane and Mark Henry as the last two competitors. Despite a back-and-forth contest, The Big Red Machine eliminated The World's Strongest Man and became ECW Champion Chavo Guerrero's challenger.
In the fourth match of the WrestleMania broadcast, Guerrero made his way to the ring to defend his ECW Championship. As the Mexican Warrior was waiting for his opponent, Kane's music hit, but he was nowhere to be found.
The Big Red Machine suddenly appeared behind Chavo Guerrero in the ring. Stunned by Kane's sudden appearance, the bell rang, and the challenger quickly hit Guerrero with an emphatic chokeslam to claim the ECW Championship after just 11 seconds.
Ultimately, the suddenness and short nature of the match reflected WWE's opinion of the ECW brand at that point - nothing but an afterthought.
