The Revival won the NXT Tag Team championship belts twice

The tag team of Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson, named The Revival, were hugely successful on NXT, since joining the developmental brand in 2014 under the name The Mechanics.

The 5'11" Wilder and 5'10" Dawson won the NXT Tag Team championship belts twice, first winning it in November 2015 after defeating Aiden English and Simon Gotch, The Vaudevillains, and then losing it to American Alpha, the tag team of Chad Gable and Jason Jordan, but winning it back soon again to hold the NXT Tag Team championship belts for the second time.

They had brilliant rivalries with American Alpha, and #DIY, the team of Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano.

The Revival got their main roster call-up in 2017, but haven't had much success on RAW and hit the heights they did in NXT.
