#2 WWE moving in a new direction with Alexa Bliss
Alexa Bliss debuted on the WWE main roster in the summer of 2016 as a draft from NXT to SmackDown. While she was part of what was considered a weak women's division, WWE instantly put her in the spotlight and within months of her call-up, she was the SmackDown Women's Champion - the second woman to hold it after Becky Lynch.
During her time on SmackDown, she dominated the brand and when she moved over to RAW, the dominance only continued to grow. She was the first woman to win both the SmackDown and RAW Women's Championships and she dominated the women's division to the point where people were sick of her.

Her alliance with Nikki Cross changed a lot of things and since then, the focus was on the women's tag team titles. However, WWE decided to take things in a new direction for Alexa Bliss and she's the perfect person for the role. From her character mannerisms changing to her look and more, all of this is intentional and it's clear that WWE is taking Alexa Bliss in a whole new direction.
