For over a decade, fans have been demanding a Brock Lesnar vs Bobby Lashey match. Lashley recently revealed that fans tell him every day that they want to see him in a match with Brock Lesnar.

There were reports that some people in WWE, too, want to make it happen. Tom Colohue of Sportskeeda said that the match could happen at SummerSlam, if Lesnar had made an appearance by then. But obviously, that didn't happen.

This doesn't mean that it won't ever happen. If the fans have been demanding it for a long time, WWE and Vince McMahon could try to deliver it. Even if Drew McIntyre is going to face Lesnar at WrestleMania 37, WWE could still book this match at Royal Rumble or at a Saudi Arabia show, sometime next year.

Lesnar has already achieved everything in his WWE career. There are only a few dream matches that fans want to see of him, and now is the time WWE starts delivering them. But, first, the company has to build Lashley's character. Perhaps this match is what is keeping Lesnar from his return to WWE at the moment.
