Brock Lesnar was forced to perform at WWE WrestleMania 36 last year inside an empty Performance Centre. The company did what it could since the COVID-19 restrictions had made it impossible for them to move anywhere else or welcome any fans into the area.
Lesnar is obviously used to performing in front of thousands of cheering fans, so it must have been quite the tough pill to swallow when there was no crowd reaction for his match against Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania.
Following the match, reports suggested that Lesnar was done with WWE. He wasn't expected to make his return to the company until the WWE Universe was able to return.
The WWE Universe will finally be allowed to return for this weekend's WrestleMania. Whilst still adhering to COVID-19 protocols, the company has allowed a small percentage of fans into the arena as part of the show.
This means that the door is now open for Lesnar to make his return to WWE and pick up where he left off in the WWE Championship storyline.
