Cesaro swinging Dolph Ziggler on SmackDown
Less than a month ago, Cesaro was not even a relevant figure on WWE television. But in a matter of weeks he has been shot straight up to the top. In the last two weeks he has picked up some major wins.

Firstly, on January 15, Cesaro was scheduled to face Daniel Bryan one on one in a singles match. To the surprise of many, Cesaro went over clean on The American Dragon after connecting with the Neutralizer.

This came as an unexpected occurrence in WWE, because Cesaro was a mid-card heel who had gone over one of the top babyfaces of the company cleanly. This was more than enough to convince some that he poses a threat to twenty-nine other men at the Royal Rumble.
The following week, Cesaro cemented his position as a Royal Rumble favorite after defeating Dolph Ziggler in dominant fashion.
Cesaro has gotten two back-to-back wins over former World Champions within two weeks. That could be a major sign of what's to follow. Wrestlers don't accidentally get such big wins consecutively. Vince McMahon seems to be pushing the Swiss Cyborg. Only time will tell if that push is big enough to give him a Royal Rumble win.

While Edge was a despised villain for the majority of his first run with WWE, Zain loved his commitment to the character. He admired his ability to narrate a compelling story with his subtle moves and actions inside the ring. He believes no one in the business has come close to the Hall of Famer in terms of staying true to their on-screen gimmick.
If Zain were to book an eye-catching WWE angle, he would pit Cody Rhodes against CM Punk. Zain would have Rhodes highlight Punk’s hypocrisy in coming back to the global juggernaut. Their interaction would lead to Punk turning heel and engaging in a high-profile match with The American Nightmare at a Big Four Premium Live Event.
When not writing, Zain loves to read philosophy, play chess, where he has represented his country at the national level.
