WWE Superstar Drew McIntyre returned to Monday Night RAW last week. The Scottish Warrior Claymored Sami Zayn right after he lost to Seth Rollins, leaving him neutralized in the middle of the ring. However, there’s a chance that McIntyre could be working with Rollins to start a front against Roman Reigns.
Moreover, it is possible that Sami Zayn could also be in cahoots with him. This article will analyze five signs that tell that these three superstars have united to oppose and destroy The OTC.
#5. Drew McIntyre directly expressed his animosity against Roman Reigns
This week on WWE RAW, Drew McIntyre revealed himself as Jey Uso’s mystery attacker from last week and took responsibility for the ambush. He directly said that he was angry with how everyone simply forgot everything Roman Reigns had done over the years and joined him at Survivor Series.

He even said that CM Punk still had something in it for him to wrestle alongside The OTC. However, he didn’t understand why The Usos and Sami Zayn were helping him. Thus, it is clear that The Scottish Psychopath still hasn’t forgotten his old wounds from the 2022 Clash at the Castle defeat against Reigns.
#4. Roman Reigns will immediately get isolated if Zayn betrays him
The match between Seth Rollins and Sami Zayn came out of nowhere on last week’s episode of RAW. The Visionary was demanding Zayn’s reasons for working with Roman Reigns despite going through atrocious treatment at his hands. He also talked about the 20-year-long friendship they had.
Not giving his reasons for standing with The OTC, Zayn simply said he would allow Rollins to blow steam in the ring. Soon after, Jey Uso got ambushed and The Honorary Uce assumed The Architect was behind the attack. However, while he showed a lot of anger, neither superstar landed his finisher.
Moreover, while Zayn brought a chair, he never used it and Rollins simply rolled him up for a pin for the win. Thus, this could’ve just been an act to maintain Zayn’s cover as a friend and take out The OG Bloodline from within. With Jimmy Uso injured and Jey Uso not medically cleared, if Sami turns heel, The OTC will be all alone once again.
#3. Sami Zayn compared Seth Rollins with Drew McIntyre out of the blue
This week on RAW, The Revolutionary demanded why Sami Zayn thought he was Jey Uso’s mystery attacker. The former Intercontinental Champion said that he assumed things because Rollins wasn’t speaking like himself last week but like Drew McIntyre.
To this, The Architect simply said that he was not The Scottish Psychopath without throwing much flak on him.
Following this, Zayn simply asked if he and Rollins were good and The Visionary said that they were. Interestingly, commentator Wade Barrett said that he would give that apology just three out of ten marks.
Moreover, it was strange that The Visionary simply forgave Zayn without demanding he leave Reigns’ side. This could be a bid from them to avoid The OTC from suspecting anything.
#2 Drew McIntyre played along with Sami Zayn’s act
Sami Zayn noted that he will let Seth Rollins deal with his CM Punk problem his own way. In this manner, he cued that Rollins’ focus is on Punk and not The OTC. After his conversation with The Visionary ended, he said that he had already spoken to Adam Pearce and secured a match against Drew McIntyre for Saturday’s Main Event.
When the former Intercontinental Champion was leaving the arena, The Scottish Psychopath jumped him and dropped Zayn with an elbow. McIntyre then sat down and punched Zayn a few times before being controlled by security.
However, it was unlikely for the Honorary Uce to stay down from that, since he has faced worse punishment and overcome wrestlers like Gunther and Bron Breakker. Thus, this could just be Drew McIntyre playing along with Zayn’s act.
#1. Solo Sikoa failed to defeat Roman Reigns
It is noteworthy that Drew McIntyre stayed quiet till Solo Sikoa failed to defeat Roman Reigns in the WarGames match at the Survivor Series. Thus, the New Bloodline’s failure despite recruiting Bronson Reed to crush Reigns may have triggered him to ally with Seth Rollins and Sami Zayn.
Both McIntyre and Rollins see a common enemy in CM Punk and Roman Reigns. Moreover, The Visionary could have already established a pact with The Scottish Warrior at SummerSlam when the latter won his match against Punk when Rollins was the Special Guest Referee.
Sami Zayn could have joined the group because he clearly stated that he didn’t want to work with CM Punk on the team. Moreover, as The Architect noted, Roman Reigns has yet to apologize to him for his actions when he was still the Undisputed WWE Champion.
While this is a strong storyline WWE can follow, all of this is speculation so far. It would be interesting to see if Drew McIntyre, Sami Zayn, and Seth Rollins are working together to bring The OTC down a second time after WrestleMania XL.
