#4 Goldberg could be Vince McMahon's immediate solution to improve ratings in the WrestleMania season
Being a legend and icon in the business, Goldberg brings with him nostalgia as well as ratings. If there's one thing WWE and especially Monday Night RAW is looking for, it is ratings. Considering how badly RAW's ratings have been in the last few months, the return of Goldberg could be an immediate solution for Vince McMahon to improve the ratings.
And well, putting the WWE Championship on him would ensure he stays on TV after Royal Rumble as well. As much as fans can hate him challenging for the title, his presence certainly feels special and grand - and most importantly, keeps everyone talking.
#3 Goldberg could establish a new Superstar at WrestleMania 37 by dropping the title to him
While there's no clarity, Goldberg is likely the 'heel' in his feud against Drew McIntyre. If he does win the WWE Championship at Royal Rumble, he could go on to have a great heel run as the champion and feud with a massive babyface, ultimately dropping the title at WrestleMania 37 and putting someone over.
To be fair, he did put Braun Strowman over at last year's WrestleMania but they didn't have a proper feud as Strowman was a last-minute replacement for Roman Reigns. WWE could change that this year and use Goldberg to establish a new Superstar. Or maybe, Drew McIntyre could chase the title and ultimately get the big victory at WrestleMania 37.
