After Roman Reigns lost to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40, Solo Sikoa wasted no time to claim his spot as the new Tribal Chief. From kicking out Jimmy Uso to introducing the Tongans in The Bloodline, Sikoa did everything necessary to rise to power.

However, it does not seem like Sikoa is ready to be The Tribal Chief. One possible reason behind him stepping up to the throne could be because Reigns named him the Tribal Heir on the December 15, 2023, episode of SmackDown. However, several signs prove that the former NXT North American Champion is not ready.

In this article, we will look at five signs that suggest Solo Sikoa is not ready to become the Tribal Chief:

#5. Paul Heyman warned Solo Sikoa on multiple occasions

The last time Paul Heyman was on WWE programming, he was put through the announcer's table by Solo Sikoa and The Bloodline. However, before that could happen, Heyman warned Sikoa that some decisions should not be taken by him but by the ones above him.

Sikoa though, did not listen to Heyman and forced The Wiseman to acknowledge him. When the Hall of Famer refused, it led to The Bloodline taking him out. While Solo's reaction was obvious, Paul E's lack of belief was a strong sign that The Street Champion was not ready to be The Tribal Chief.

#4. Solo Sikoa is not himself

Solo Sikoa's disappointment in Roman Reigns led him to replace the latter as The Tribal Chief. But, if one closely examines Solo's run as the head till now, it's easy to see that he has simply followed Reigns' path. Sikoa is making his best impression of the Head of the Table and is failing to become his own Tribal Chief.

The perfect example of this can be seen in how Solo is handling Jacob Fatu. When Reigns was The Tribal Chief, he was known to hold back Solo. The latter too is following the same path as he is constantly seen holding back his Enforcer.

#3. Solo Sikoa is not sure of his status

The one stand-out factor about Roman Reigns' run as Tribal Chief was his confidence. Reigns was always sure about his status as The Tribal Chief and his confidence was loved by many despite him playing a heel character.

However, it can be argued that Solo does not have the same confidence in his abilities. On the August 16 episode of SmackDown, Sikoa told Tongans that if Roman is successful in taking back the Ula Fala from him, then they must acknowledge Reigns as The Tribal Chief.

This statement by Solo somewhere shows that he does not believe in his abilities. And if that's true, then is he really ready to become The Tribal Chief?

#2. Cody Rhodes chose Jacob Fatu over Solo Sikoa

A champion like Cody Rhodes is known to have the hunger to face the best of the best. And when it comes to The Bloodline, Solo Sikoa has to be the best, because, after all, he is the leader of the faction. However, it seems like The American Nightmare does not agree with the same.

On the latest episode of SmackDown, Rhodes offered a title shot to Jacob Fatu instead of Sikoa. While this was disrespectful to The Bloodline leader, it also showed that The American Nightmare believes more in the abilities of Fatu when compared to Solo.

#1. WWE reportedly believes Jacob Fatu could outshine Solo Sikoa

When Jacob Fatu signed with WWE earlier this year, he was not immediately introduced on television. The promotion took their own sweet time until Fatu appeared on the June 21 edition of SmackDown, and attacked Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton.

As per reports, the reason behind the delay in Fatu's debut was the fear of WWE creatives that Jacob would have outshone Solo at that particular stage. If these reports are true, then it raises questions about the ability of Sikoa to become The Tribal Chief.
