#4 History with The O.C.

If Finn Balor is going to betray NXT, he needs a good reason to. Balor's history with AJ Styles, Luke Gallows, and Karl Anderson could be a good enough reason. WWE even gave a hint by having Balor cost Johnny Gargano, Keith Lee, and Matt Riddle a match against The O.C. last week.
WWE's decision may have been a red herring, perhaps a way to get out of giving either team a loss, but that becomes less likely when you consider Balor's other actions. In fact, between not officially taking a side in the brand supremacy war and turning heel a few weeks ago, it seems extremely likely that he's rejoining his old stablemates.
The company seems to be hinting that Balor for one reason or another will cost NXT victory at Survivor Series and join The O.C. in the process. Where the company goes from there remains to be seen, and will depend on what they want to do with the four men, but one has to admit that the idea of them back together is very appealing.
