#3 Impact of the move

Finn Balor already turned heel when he assisted The Undisputed Era in taking out Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano during an episode of NXT, but could the worse be yet to come? In fact, between him not taking part in the invasion storyline and actively helping The O.C. days later, it seems like he might be capable of the unthinkable.
Some would say there's nothing Balor could do to top turning heel, but what if he turned his back on the entire NXT brand? Not only would doing so be devastating to the Black & Gold roster at Survivor Series, but it could also turn him into the biggest heel in WWE.
Nothing would make the WWE Universe hate Balor more than him costing NXT the victory at Survivor Series. It also allows him to become the heel centerpiece the Black & Gold brand needs right now, and could eventually lead to an up and coming babyface finally toppling him.
In the end, keeping Finn out of the brand supremacy war does nothing to further his career or NXT, which is why WWE has to be building to something epic. Either that or the company is just dropping hints to make fans speculate for no reason.
