#5 Probably the only match that makes sense?

Recently, on Wrestling Observer Radio, Bryan Alvarez and Dave Meltzer discussed Goldberg’s possible opponent at Super ShowDown.

Meltzer: So him being on SmackDown is a big surprise. That’s why Bray Wyatt sort of makes sense as there is no other opponent. I mean, they could do a Daniel Bryan match again, but he’s beaten Daniel Bryan twice clean. And they have to do something.

A female WWE star said her life is in danger. Details HERE

Meltzer also discussed the possibility of King Corbin vs Goldberg. But, this match will not attract a lot of viewers from all around the world. If Reigns faces Goldberg and beats him at Super ShowDown (it’s unlikely he will lose before ‘Mania) and then wins at Elimination Chamber to challenge The Fiend, the fans will boo him. That’s because he’ll be getting so many opportunities in a short time.

But in the case of Wyatt, everyone likes him. Plus, he’ll play the villain in his feud with Roman Reigns, so the more heat he gets from the WWE Universe, the more it’ll benefit his character. And we have to admit, there aren’t a lot of options for Goldberg at SmackDown as of now. So The Fiend vs Goldberg makes a lot of sense.
