#3. Finn Balor getting the Universal title match he deserved

Brock Lesnar vs Finn Balor for the Universal Championship was in the talks for Royal Rumble 2018. However, WWE somehow concluded that Balor was not over enough to compete for the big red belt. This conclusion is despite the fact that Balor got some of the most humongous pops on every episode of RAW in which he was featured. WWE replaced Balor with Kane and Braun Strowman, and we got one of the worst ever Universal title matches till date.

Fast forward to a year later and WWE had a fatal 4-way match between Finn Balor, John Cena, Drew McIntyre, and Baron Corbin - whose winner would get to challenge The Beast Incarnate at Royal Rumble 2019 for the Universal Championship.

Shockingly, Balor pinned the Cenation leader out of all people, to advance to face Lesnar. Although Lesnar dominated the Demon King in the match, the fact that Balor got a chance to battle with the Beast shows that WWE is listening to its fans.
