#2. Asuka winning the Smackdown LIVE Women's Championship

Since losing to Charlotte Flair at Wrestlemania 34, Asuka has not been the same for a very long time. After her unbeaten streak of over 600 days in WWE snapped, the Empress of Tomorrow found herself losing to the likes of Carmella. Asuka is one of the best female wrestlers in the world and certainly did not deserve this booking - and the fans also agreed with this fact.

The fans began chanting for Asuka whenever she competed. However, the most critical instance where the fan support convinced WWE to change the way the former NXT Women's champion was booked was during the segment where Becky Lynch chose her replacement to face Ronda Rousey at Survivor Series 2018.

When all the women in the Smackdown LIVE roster were lined up, Asuka got the biggest pop - even louder than that for Charlotte - when Becky approached her. Two months later, Asuka defeated both Lynch and Flair in a TLC match, and month further, forced Becky to tap out clean at Royal Rumble 2019. Now that's how you book a star like Asuka!
