#4 Sting said it’s the only match he wants to have
Sting has always spoken openly about wanting to have a match with The Undertaker. The former WCW Champion suffered a career-ending injury in 2015, but he still hopes to come back to face The Phenom. While speaking to Sports Illustrated, Sting stated the following regarding a possible ‘Mania return.
"If there was a 'Taker situation at WrestleMania, I would listen to that phone call. I could get in condition and I could pull it off."
Corey Graves deleted his Tweet! More details HERE.
It’s clear that Sting has one single match left in his mind -- a WrestleMania bout against The Undertaker. Maybe Vince McMahon finally gave in and is now considering the match for this year’s extravaganza. After all, this appears to be the only match that can get Sting out of retirement, and the fans do want him to return.
Interestingly, WWE had previously considered Sting vs ‘Taker way back at WrestleMania 27, but at that time, it was The Icon who rejected this idea. He wouldn't have his first match in WWE until 4 years later at WrestleMania 31.
