#1 A legendary end to a legend’s career
Sting had his first match in WWE against Triple H at WrestleMania 31. He lost his debut match, something many still believe shouldn’t have happened. Later on he would continue his rivalry with The Authority that began at Survivor Series 2014 when he found himself head-to-head with Seth Rollins. They battled for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Night of Champions in what would prove to, as of now, be Sting's final match.
It was only Sting's 4th match inside of a WWE ring, and due to a freak accident that wasn't immediately an obvious injury as the match took place, it turned out to be his last. Even though he left wrestling for the biggest prize in the industry, surely it's not how he would’ve wanted to retire. If Sting can wrestle (and he said he can), then why not bid him farewell with a match he clearly wants to have? Even Edge returned for this reason. He wanted to end his career on his own terms. Maybe, Sting could do something similar? He can return and challenge The Undertaker to finally put an end to his career -- the way he wants to.
