#1. Losing will be an important part of Daniel Bryan's story arc

It's possible in wrestling to look good in defeat as long as there's a purpose to it. When losses fuel a storyline and a character arc, they're more than welcome and that's why Bryan won't suffer at all when or if he loses to The Fiend.
In this case, the back-and-forth promo between Bryan and The Miz highlighted not only their chemistry but Bryan's incredible promo skills. He went on an entire rant about the multiple changes that he's gone through, why he decided to ditch the "Yes!" Movement last year and take the dirty route when winning the WWE Championship.

The promo made him look human and added a lot of depth to his character. He's in a very interesting position from a storyline perspective and while 2019 hasn't been his best year, it's still been a very important one. Losing to Wyatt is the best possible thing because it's only going to fuel his "mentally unstable" character arc.
It could lead to a beautiful storyline and we're excited to see what could come of it.
