WWE is no stranger to telling the story of a worthy young underdog and that seems to fit Dominik Mysterio perfectly right now. Yeah, he might have taken a few losses and been on the receiving end of a beat down or two, but he has managed to win matches when they count.

Some might point to Mysterio losing to Seth Rollins for the opportunity at the WWE Title as an example of the company not having much faith in him, but all it really did was make him that much more sympathetic as a babyface. It also made his win over Buddy Murphy the very next week all the more climactic.

In the end, he is winning when it counts and when it makes sense for him to do so. Although he probably won't reach any kind of title contention in the next couple of months, his underdog story is becoming the stuff of legends and turning him into a big name.
