#4 Bayley gets one over on Charlotte
Sasha Banks battled Bayley's Clash of Champions challenger Charlotte Flair on SmackDown Live tonight. The Queen hoped to pick up a clean victory over The Boss after she helped prevent another beatdown from the Boss N' Hug Connection on RAW the night before, saving Raw Women's Champion Becky Lynch in the process.
However, one major factor was in play tonight. Bayley was in Banks' corner, but Flair was all alone. Sadly for the multi-time Women's Champion, the Hugger broke up the Figure-8 Leglock before she could secure a win, forcing a DQ victory.
The SmackDown Women's Champion would be forced to face the wrath of Flair, however, in the dark main event of the night. Following 205 Live, Bayley was forced to defend her championship, and though she managed to sneak up on her, attacking her from behind, Charlotte easily overcame the champion and brutalized her for the majority of the match.
However, the new, more clever Bayley managed to steal one from Flair after introducing a chair into the ring. Flair stopped her from utilizing it, but when she attempted to rain down steel upon Bayley's back, the referee pulled it away. This allowed Bayley to poke her in the eyes and roll her up for the win, making yet another quick escape just like at Clash of Champions.
By hook or by crook, the former role model for the WWE Universe has been able to outsmart Charlotte twice this week.
