It's quite easy to assume that Rusev is a featured member of the roster right now, given that so many fans are consumed with his Rusev Day gimmick. While he's certainly getting more screen time than usual, it still feels like he isn't in the right position when it comes to his growing star power and presence within the company.
We aren't suggesting that they should automatically thrust him into the main event picture, but they need to start recapturing the glory of his monster heel days. They can still sprinkle in some of the comedic effects that have been working so well for him as of late, but The Bulgarian Brute is at his best when he's dismantling babyfaces on a week to week basis.
