At WrestleMania 26, John Cena defeated Batista to win back the WWE Title. The next PPV, Extreme Rules, saw The Animal challenge Cena in a rematch, this time under Last Man Standing rules.

The two megastars beat the tar out of each other for the next 20 minutes, with neither of them willing to give up. Suddenly, Cena thought of something as Batista was struggling to stand near a turnbuckle.

Cena went outside the ring, found a pack of duct tape, and approached Batista. He proceeded to grab hold of Batista's legs, and bound them with the duct tape, as they were crossed between the turnbuckle post. The referee counted to 10, as Batista failed to remove the tape. An incredibly smart trick on Cena's part helped him retain his WWE Title.
