At this point, this is only spectulation, although there is enough information on the internet to support this claim. It is rumored that during his final year with WWE, Randy Savage had a love affair with Stephanie McMahon, something Vince McMahon found out about many years later.
And as a result of the same, while every superstar from the Golden Era of WWE made a comeback, Macho Man Randy Savage never did. Savage had a great run in WCW and TNA as well, but unlike Bret Hart, Ultimate Warrior and Hulk Hogan who buried the hatchet with Vince McMahon, Savage never did.
What probably irks Vince so much is that at the time of the rumored affair, Stephanie was only 17. Sure, his career was already ‘made’ by then, but who says he couldn’t have enjoyed another lengthy run like his peers did in WWE?
