For those new to professional wrestling and the WWE, I'd like to note how important Survivor Series season is in the WWE Universe. The Royal Rumble, WrestleMania, SummerSlam and Survivor Series pay-per-views are considered to be the "Big 4" PPVs in the company, which take place every year.
Furthermore, this year's Survivor Series PPV is set to take place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California on November 18th -- less than a couple of weeks away! Now, getting back to SmackDown Live, this week's episode featured a notable women's match between the blue brand's reigning "Champ" Becky Lynch and "NXT's Twisted Sister" Nikki Cross.
While Lynch vs. Cross was an awesome match, the other top female talent on the blue brand i.e. Charlotte Flair was absent from the show. And instead of Charlotte, it was Mandy Rose who was the main attraction of the other women's segment on this week's episode of SmackDown Live.
The fact that WWE is affording Rose such a great amount of time in the spotlight, especially when we are this close to Survivor Series, is a significant hint that The Golden Goddess' future truly is golden (pun intended!)...
