Cedric Alexander will finally get his Cruiserweight title opportunity at WrestleMania

WWE has undergone huge revolutions with their women and tag divisions over the last year, but it’s a shame that the same can’t be said for the cruiserweight division.

The 205 Live roster members still have their own weekly show, but the division feels less relevant than ever right now and none of the cruiserweights have appeared on Raw in the build to WrestleMania 34, where Cedric Alexander and Mustafa Ali will meet for the vacant Cruiserweight title.

Looking back to WrestleMania 33, Neville and Austin Aries were the only cruiserweights who featured at the event (and that’s including the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal), so it would only be fair to add a lumberjack stipulation to Alexander vs. Ali so that the rest of the 205 Live stars get to experience a 'Mania crowd for the first time.
