Even if it was announced that AJ Styles vs The Undertaker was happening at a wrestling event, the match alone could have sold out the biggest arena of the world. WWE loves to make grand occasions even better and thus, there is a possibility that they could have a special guest referee for this match.

Now, given that this match features two all-time greats, WWE should have a legendary figure as the referee. The question is - Who will be the perfect fit for this role?

The Creative team has a handful of options in its hands. They can simply announce next week on RAW during the contract signing segment that the match between Styles and The Undertaker will have a special guest referee. Then they could build around the stipulation in the coming weeks.

It is likely that Stone Cold Steve Austin, who is coming back to celebrate the #316Day on RAW next Monday would be chosen for this role or else Shawn Michaels, whose name has been spoken by AJ Styles during the buildup of this match, emerges as the guest referee.
