Velveteen Dream has been on fire since last year. He has shown that he could work with any Superstar. It's high time Dream gets a shot at the NXT World Title.
Currently, Ciampa doesn't have an opponent for NXT Takeover: WarGames II but we would probably find out his opponent over the next four weeks.
The most logical choice would be to give Velveteen Dream a Championship match. A Dream vs. Ciampa match has money written all over it. Moreover, this feud between the two would also help in temporarily sidelining the Gargano/Ciampa feud and prevent it from getting stale.
