#3: Spike Dudley and Tazz

The pair of ECW alum defeated Bubba and D-Von Dudley for the gold.

As a Dudley, you'd expect Spike Dudley to know a thing or two about tag team action.

But always in the shadow of his brothers Bubba Ray and D-Von, the much larger pair would often deliver tough love to the runt of the family, as Spike became focussed on finding a partner to get some payback on his brothers.

In January 2002, that partner was Tazz, as the pair were able to upset Bubba and D-Von in a Hardcore tag title match to win the gold.

Successfully retaining the titles against the Dudleyz at the Royal Rumble later that month, the group would hold the gold for little over a month, before losing the gold to Billy and Chuck on SmackDown in February, though nothing could ever take away the win Spike has over his brothers.
