5 SummerSlam matches likely to take place following WWE Extreme Rules

WWE Extreme Rules capped off with Brock Lesnar finally cashing in his Money in the Bank briefcase against Seth Rollins to become the new WWE Universal Champion.

The age of Brock Lesnar begins once again in WWE, but the big question will be how long Lesnar's Title reign will last.

With WWE heading into its big TV deal with FOX in October, many fans believed Brock Lesnar might head into October as the Smackdown Live WWE Champion, but with the brand split all but dead, it's very possible the Universal Title could pop up on the blue brand occasionally.

With Paul Heyman in charge of Monday Night Raw going forward, it makes the most sense for Lesnar to appear on Raw as the Universal Champion, and his run will most likely lead to a rematch against Seth Rollins at WWE SummerSlam.

Because Lacey Evans and Baron Corbin lost their tag team match at Extreme Rules, they lost the ability to challenge for their brand's titles, meaning the SummerSlam bout is likely to be a singles match featuring Lesnar vs. Rollins.
