We are only days away from Survivor Series; one of the biggest pay-per-view in the WWE calendar year. Survivor Series has always been known for its ability to give the WWE Universe shocks, and dream matches, along with the unpredictability that goes with it.
This year's Survivor Series will not be any different. This time, we will see three brands instead of two going after one another, in what is poised to be a historic moment in WWE's rich history. Survivor Series will come live to us from the Allstate Arena in Chicago, IL.
The Chicago crowd along with most of the WWE Universe will be hoping to see the dream return of CM Punk, although Punk stated that an in-ring return isn't what he is actively pursuing at the moment.
That said, do not rule out some other Superstar returns on Sunday and in this piece, we are going to take a look at the three Superstar returns that can happen on the 24th of November:
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
#5 Samoa Joe
Basically, Samoa Joe has been injured for a while now and he has been doing some wide-ranging stuff for WWE. He has appeared on WWE Backstage and he even did commentary on RAW this week. But nobody knows when Joe will make his in-ring return.
Hence, it wouldn't be wrong to think that the former NXT and United States Champion might be gunning to make his return at Survivor Series. He is currently drafted to RAW, hence he would likely return to help the Red brand in the numbers game.
Joe is one of the most over Superstars in the WWE Universe and upon his return, he is likely to receive a push. The former United States Champion might return this Sunday and settle some old scores.
#4 Luke Harper
Here's a man who after splitting from the Wyatt Family has gone down the pecking order, just like Erick Rowan. The WWE Universe can be forgiven for not knowing that Luke Harper has been drafted to SmackDown because he hasn't appeared on WWE programming for a while now.
That makes Harper the perfect man for a surprise return. It's been a while since he was involved in anything concrete but that could change this Sunday. If he is to return, it would most probably be in the traditional Survivor Series inter-brand Five on Five Elimination Match.
#3 Alexa Bliss
Another SmackDown Superstar who has been out for a while now is The Goddess, Alexa Bliss. She has been ruled out due to an injury and no return date has been set for her yet. Survivor Series could be the perfect time for The Goddess to make her much-anticipated return.
The SmackDown Women's roster is in dire need of a great babyface and no one needs to tell you how good The Goddess is. The former SmackDown Women's Champion will definitely get a huge pop if she returns this Sunday in Chicago.
#2 Elias
Elias is another SmackDown Superstar whose return is said to be imminent. He was ruled out of action due to an injury but reports suggest that his return is just around the corner.
So, could we see The Drifter return this Sunday at Survivor Series? The chances are very high. Also, Elias teased a change in his character on social media recently. On Sunday, the WWE Universe might walk with Elias again.
#1 Ronda Rousey
Ever since that historic moment at WrestleMania 35, where Ronda Rousey main evented 'The Show of Shows' with Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair, 'The Baddest Woman on the Planet' hasn't appeared on WWE programming.
Her return has been due for a while now and WWE might not get a better chance of shocking the WWE Universe with the return of the former RAW Women's Champion. She has a few unresolved matters to attend to; the biggest one being The Man, Becky Lynch.
Hence, do not rule out this huge return on Sunday, which will definitely send the WWE Universe into a deep frenzy.
