Announcing the 16-time World Champion John Cena as the No. 30 entrant in the Royal Rumble match this year would be huge. As per recent reports, John Cena is likely going to be a part of WrestleMania 37 later this year. Under normal circumstances, it would have been perfect to keep Cena as one of the surprise entrants in the Royal Rumble match as the entire arena would have popped when his music hit.

However, WWE is trying to generate some buzz and make fans tune in and watch Royal Rumble this year. Just as they did with Edge earlier this week on Monday Night RAW, John Cena could also be announced to enter the Royal Rumble - at the 30th spot.

The Leader of Cenation is one of the only few WWE Superstars who have won the Royal Rumble match twice. Can he do it once again, match the record of WWE Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin, and go on for that record 17th world championship in WWE?

WWE Universe has previously seen a short feud between the babyface Roman Reigns and John Cena in 2017. While Reigns came out victorious in their match at WWE No Mercy 2017, fans remember the feud for the promo segment between the two where John Cena completely destroyed Reigns with the mic.

However, Roman Reigns is no longer that guy and has been doing the best work of his career as The Head of the Table and Universal Champion. A feud between John Cena and a heel Roman Reigns, with Paul Heyman by his side this time, could be gold. It would be interesting to see who the fans cheer this time.
