Following the 2020 WWE Draft, WWE updated the SmackDown introduction video to include several new Superstars on the blue brand.

The one-minute introduction now includes the following Superstars: Seth Rollins, Sasha Banks, Big E, Bianca Belair, Jey Uso, Cesaro, Shinsuke Nakamura, Robert Roode, Dolph Ziggler, Rey Mysterio, Roman Reigns, Otis, Bayley, Sasha Banks (again), Zelina Vega, King Corbin, The Street Profits, Seth Rollins (again), Bayley (again), Daniel Bryan, Rey Mysterio (again), Kevin Owens, Big E (again), Shawn Michaels, John Cena, Triple H, The Undertaker, and Roman Reigns (again).

The opening titles do not include Sami Zayn, despite the fact that he is the current WWE Intercontinental Champion and one of the top heel Superstars on Friday nights.

Zayn made it clear on Twitter how he felt about the omission.

As of the time of writing, only one episode of WWE SmackDown has aired since the latest set of roster changes took place.

WWE has been known to make changes to show openings in the past, usually when someone leaves the company.

Only time will tell if Zayn will be added to that group of Superstars in the coming weeks.
