#4: Roman Reigns is already the best Royal Rumble competitor of his generation

Nobody in Royal Rumble history has more top 2 finishes than Roman Reigns. The former SHIELD powerhouse won the 2015 edition of the 30-man battle royal and has never finished less than third. The previous year, he had set the record for most eliminations in a single match at 12 and he was the ''Iron Man'' of the match in 2016.

Away from the attraction match itself, Reigns has had two amazing Universal title matches against Kevin Owens at the event.

Few would bet against The Tribal Chief winning another Rumble before hanging up his boots. With an encounter against his former brother Seth Rollins set to add another layer to his legacy, even fewer would doubt him earning the Mr. Rumble moniker.

#3: John Cena has enjoyed some of the best moments of his iconic career at the Royal Rumble

John Cena is a two-time Royal Rumble winner. The 16-time World Champion has also finished in the top two twice. However, it is Cena's record in matches at the premium live event that really put him in contention for the title of Mr. Rumble.

His matches are often the highlight of the night, with the prime example being his 2017 bout against AJ Styles in which he won his career-crowning 16th World Title. When he is in the showpiece match itself, he consistently plays a part in the climax, authoring more memorable Rumble moments than almost anyone.

Does a man who dominated the premium live event for nearly two decades deserve to be Mr. Rumble? He surely deserves to be on this list.
