#2 Ted DiBiase Jr in WWE | Son of the “Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase
Ted DiBiase Jr is a third-generation former wrestler who worked for WWE between 2007 and 2013.
While in WWE he held the FCW Southern Heavyweight Championship, defeating TJ Wilson, who he had previously been aligned with. He wouldn’t hold the championship for long after suffering an injury and awarded the title to Heath Miller on 19th January 2008.
DiBiase made his main roster debut on 26th May 2008, eventually winning the World Tag Team Championship alongside Cody Rhodes. The two would then aligne with Manu before beginning a feud with Randy Orton, and this storyline would prove to be a star-making moment for both Rhodes and DiBiase, as the two sided with Orton to create The Legacy in January 2009.
Tension would grow between all its members with Orton defeating both at WrestleMania XXVI. Following on from this DiBiase would adopt a new 00’s version of his father gimmick, that of a spoiled trust fund kid taking possession of the Million Dollar Championship. He would continue to reinvent his image with each passing year, but he would never quite reach the hights he had with the Legacy. DiBiase would leave the WWE in September 2013 after deciding not to renew his contact and focus on his mental health that had been suffering.
