#3 Daniel Bryan asked Vince McMahon to work with Heath Slater and Drew Gulak

Prior to his release from WWE, Heath Slater did get a short but formidable run on SmackDown, along with former WWE Champion, Daniel Bryan. Over the past few months or so, Bryan has formed quite the alliance with Drew Gulak and all of it happened after the latter was promoted to the main roster but wasn't being used to his full potential. As it turned out, it was Bryan of all people who vouched to work alongside Drew Gulak and told Vince McMahon involve him as part of his own storylines, as well.

The former WWE Champion reportedly suggested that WWE involve the two mid-card superstars in major storylines on SmackDown, and while things have perfectly worked out for Gulak, Slater, unfortunately, was axed by the company.

Nevertheless, seeing Daniel Bryan step up to the higher-ups in WWE and Vince McMahon in order to vouch for two of underrated mid-card stars was definitely a heartening story and Gulak, especially, has benefited a lot, courtesy of Daniel Bryan.
