Not only does Bobby Lashley have absolutely no momentum behind him after losing to Roman Reigns at Extreme Rules, he also doesn't have the personality to carry a main event feud anyway. Beyond that, he doesn't even emote well, which makes it really hard to get behind him as a babyface.

In the end, that, along with the horrible way WWE has been writing his character the last couple of months should be proof enough that WWE doesn't see him as a main event threat. Furthermore, it proves that WWE doesn't know what made the character of Bobby Lashley unique in the first place and are not taking his return seriously.

In the end, maybe that will all change one day and WWE will wake up from their momentary lapse of judgement and make the right decisions, but until then, don't expect Bobby Lashley to be anything close to a threat in The WWE title scene. In fact, he's probably at the back of the line as both a babyface and a heel in the title picture, which doesn't help his standing either.
