#4. Finn Balor's disappointing run would get a boost
Finn Balor hasn't been doing anything significant in the promotion lately besides putting over Austin Theory. He returned to SmackDown in July 2021 after a successful championship run in NXT.
Since then, The Prince engaged in a brief feud with Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship, coming up short. After failing to win the King of the Ring tournament at Crown Jewel, he was drafted to RAW. Balor was also absent from this year's Royal Rumble match.
Corey Graves deleted his Tweet! More details HERE.
Balor has the potential to be a great champion, but has not had the opportunity to prove himself on the main roster since a shoulder injury derailed his first run with WWE's biggest title. An entry into the Elimination Chamber could have been just the sort of career boost he needs right now.
#3. The Ultimate Opportunist might have won his third Chamber match
Edge made his in-ring return to pro-wrestling after nine years at the 2020 Royal Rumble. Following his career revival, he's pulled off several stellar matches. He also won last year's Men's Royal Rumble match and main-evented WrestleMania.
Edge's record in the Elimination Chamber is impressive. He's competed in four throughout his career and has won it twice.
The Ultimate Opportunist is currently on a hot streak, securing victory twice in the last two premium live events. With his career resurgence likely entering its final stages, he should be engaging in all the high profile events he can.
Edge's experience in the Elimination Chamber and current win-loss record should have qualified him for this year's Chamber match.
